Every hip or knee replacement we perform is recorded in the Kaiser Permanente National Total Joint Registry, which tracks more than 285,000 of these procedures dating back to the year 2000. The information is used in multiple national and international studies every year to advance surgical techniques and outcomes.
Who we are
Our team consists of board-certified orthopedic surgeons, musculoskeletal specialists (who are board-certified in sports medicine), and board-certified podiatrists. We are one of the largest orthopedic departments in metro Denver, and 95% of our physicians are fellowship-trained.
Several of our doctors serve on the committees of national organizations, such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and the American Orthopaedic Association. Many have also been asked to teach national-level courses and publish articles in medical journals.

We think differently about medicine. We design care around you. Our orthopedic doctors are connected to each other, your primary care provider, pharmacists, nurses, other clinicians — and you — through your electronic health record. That way all the providers involved in your care know everything from test results and medications you’re taking to your most recent vital signs and treatments. This is not simply so that care is more convenient for you and your doctors, it is so that you get the highest-quality care that helps keep you at your healthiest.
We practice at the Franklin Medical Offices in central Denver, the Rock Creek Medical Offices in Lafayette, and the Lone Tree Medical Offices in the south Denver metro area.
The way we practice medicine at Kaiser Permanente gives us the freedom to focus on care, rather than running a business. We are free to practice medicine the way it is supposed to be practiced — with a focus on providing expert, compassionate care to you.
Every member of your care team is here to support you through your journey. When you have excellent doctors, truly connected care teams, advanced technology, and the right partners, you can expect great results.
Each year, Kaiser Permanente doctors are recognized as top doctors by their peers and publications such as 5280 magazine. Some have joined us from top-ranked academic training programs and successful private practices. Others have been honored for their invaluable contributions to medical advancements and new surgical techniques that help patients heal quickly and with less pain.
Our hospital partners have a track record of success and are often recognized as regional or national centers of excellence for their specialties. We also partner with national organizations, contributing to large, cutting-edge, research projects.
